In Peekaboo, something (or someone) peeks out, perhaps a cat, perhaps a creature with ears and a gaze, from behind a pattern of sweeping lines.

There is a sense of anticipation, of curiosity, of something about to happen, but also a quiet delight in the act of looking itself.

Peekaboo captures a moment of surprise and presence, an instant where image and viewer meet in play. At the same time the piece carries for line, for motion, for what appears when you let go for a moment, and something reveals itself.
